The worst cake bakers My wife had ordered vanilla white cake on my birthday recently. When my guest had that cake they asked me from where did you get it. It's hell sweet and no one had it. I am sure this bakery is the creator of diabetics. I then went back to cold stone and bought a delicious cake for my guest. It was the worst day of my life and that day was my birthday. See how embarrassing was it for me.

I'm not an expert for Baker's Peak because I've only had cookies there so I don't know about their cakes and such. But their cookies are to DIE for. Especially the snicker doodle! Their cookies are huge so you won't be able to eat more than one. My only issue? They close way too early. 3pm. Because of that and my schedule I never get the chance to go there anymore.

I purchased a birthday cake for my mother from Baker's Peak a couple of years ago which was unremarkable. But the individual sized carrot cakes are as close to perfection as it gets.

The absolute worst customer service in town. The owner hates her customers so much it makes you wonder why she even wants to run a business. We tried this place because we like to support local business but we got nothing but snide condescension. Sorry lady, but just because I'm in my 30's doesn't mean I'm too poor to purchase one of your cakes. Don't worry though, I'll never enter your "deli" again.

My review is strictly based on the taste of their cake. I haven't had lunch at the deli and I'm not the one who ordered the cake so i can't speak to that process either. I had their white cake with white buttercream frosting and it was SO DELICIOUS! It's moist and flavorful and just melts in your mouth.

We ordered a cake from here for a relative's birthday. We got a red velvet cake and it was delicious. The staff was kind and welcoming to us when we walked in. They worked with us to figure out which cake she would like most and even inquired on her favorite colors so they could use them in the decorating. They were also very accommodating when it came to when they would have it ready for pick up. We, as well as everyone else at the party, were very pleased with the final product. The cake was very moist and the frosting was some of the best I've had. Considering that everyone really liked the cake, I'm sure we will be back. I would highly recommend giving this bakery a try if you're in need of some sweets or a quality birthday cake.

I wanted a fondant cake for my daughters birthday but everyone was booked up. I was a little worried that the design was not going to look good in butter cream icing but boy was I ever shocked when I saw the cake. The cake was beautiful!!!! The cake decorator did an absolutely amazing job and I have to say this was way better than fondant because it was absolutely delicious. It has to be the best tasting cake we have ever purchased on top of being the best looking cake. I do not know how they do it but I can't thank them enough for putting together a zebra/pink leopard cake together for me on Purdue's homecoming weekend. I will be a loyal customer forever. This was my first time ever going to bakers peak and I found them super helpful, kind, and definately talented cake decorators! It was a huge hit. Everyone wanted to know where I got this cake. Thank you so very much. My daughter said it looked just like the photo (and it did!!).

My Dad & his new wife had cupcakes from here for their wedding reception a few days ago. I wish I'd known about this place sooner!! Ooooooooooooo....these cupcakes....they have me needing a cupcake detox program! I had about 2 (Had 1 1/2 at the reception, then my husband and I snagged a few to take home...gave one to his mom and split the other one that night!), and I honestly could've eaten like 17...provided I had some ice cold milk, that is! The cake itself was moist and fluffy, kind of springy, but still dense enough. Yummmm. This girl doesn't normally even LIKE icing, and the height of it was rather formidable, but I dove in and somehow managed to get my mouth open wide enough to take a real bite, icing and all. It was perfection. Rich but not too sweet. Kind of had that nice "crust" on the outside (almost like a fondant, but not), and creamy inside. Oh, Baker's Peak...what have you done to my slim-down-for-summer diet??? I'm glad I live in Cincy now, but I know where to find you. This could be a problem in the future... ;)

Wow. I can't believe I didn't know about this place. I wanted to order a cake but didn't feel like getting a generic one from Payless or Marsh. So, I searched online and Baker's Peak popped up. I figured I would give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. 1. They made a birthday cake for me with only 1 day's notice. Understandably, it wasn't anything fancy or crazy. It was a simple 8" round cake, but they decorated it nicely without any direction from me. 2. The cake is delicious. It was just a chocolate cake with white buttercream icing. 3. The cookies are good too. I got a chocolate crinkle and a chocolate chip. So soft! I haven't tried the deli food, but the baked goods are awesome. Plus, I went there around lunch time, and it was PACKED, so I'm going to go ahead and assume their lunches are tasty as well.

delicious "carrot bar" which is a decadent piece of extra-moist, nut-free, frosted carrot cake + fresh-baked oatmeal chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies, lunch is served weekdays

Recently had a poor customer service experience there. One employee was clearly disgusted that we walked in 15 minutes before closing and was her attitude was very off-putting. The other employee who actually helped us was very friendly and helpful, and I do enjoy their bakery goods. I know the late-arriving guest can be a pain for an employee at any establishment, but a pet peeve of mine is small businesses with poor customer service. If you are annoyed by my business, don't worry, I won't give it to you anymore.
